After beginning my career in the media, I transitioned into the field of community development in 1997. Since then, I've worked on both east and west coasts as well as abroad. I have held a variety of positions in this field for nearly 20 years.
I possess both a creative and analytical professional background. I love the work I do, am adaptive to almost any work environment, and am able to produce high-quality work in short time frames. I have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with a wide variety of people.
The first in my family to graduate college, I worked my way through school and am a proud "Sooner." I graduated from my favorite university with a dual degree in Journalism and English, and a M.A. degree in Regional & City Planning.
Outside of the office, I am an artist, photographer, and overall curious individual. I love learning. My work involves the built environment but I revitalize myself by spending time in nature. They say that everyone should believe in something. No matter what the day brings, I believe I should go to the beach!
